In the beginning of the year, mars is retro grated and there is a lunar eclipse.

There are possibilities of earth quakes and various kinds of explosions. I see a possibility of explosions under water, or related to water, as on ships.

In the month of February a possibility of terrorist attacks, but they will be warded off well.

After March finances look upwards in general.

In the same way negative, constricted thoughts have negative vibrations. They have the capacity to imbalance chakras, and curtail progress and well being. They can give rise to disease, and death. God and Evil are within us. It is upto us the enliven either of them. The subconscious mind can be our Guru and guide us as the inner voice in difficult times.

The company of persons with the wrong moral values, and negative personalities can cause negative effects upon the mind encouraging perverted thought patterns and violence.

So Satsang – or being in the presence of saints and yogis and listening to their yogic wisdom, is considered important in India.

These elements can be balanced in our place of living for our benefit. This art and science is called Vastushastra.

Man being part ofnature’s creation every process and action in it has an effect on him.The place where he lives has a very important part to play on this effect.As this is where he works, rests, thinks and dreams.As we have all seen that a small shanty place is huddled with activity and some grand shopping malls in posh locales have had to shut down.

Man is born with some astrological influences which form about 40% of his luck. 25% of success is by his own efforts and 35% of his future progress depends upon vastushastra, or the balance of energy in his house.

It is therefore very important that his place of dwelling is well balanced in energy.

It is a method of burning a fire in a copper vessel, having the shape of an inverted pyramid, with the dried cake of cowdung, ghee made of cow’s milk and whole rice grains, (about two pinches) while chanting mantras. The mantras create specific sound energy vibration, which purify the atmosphere, making it conducive to health and creativity, and protection from various diseases, including the present epidemic of swine flu. It is a very easy procedure that can be performed in any place.

There is no restriction of age, sex, or religion to perform ‘Agnihotra’. The benefits of this are manifold, and have been extensively researched by modern methods.

Agnihotra relates to the purification of the Cosmic life energy. Kirlian photography proves that even inanimate objects have a certain energy field. This means that Cosmic energy is part if everything visible, and invisible, animate and inanimate on earth.

Researchers have found that the medicinal properties of the fire, and fumes produced while performing the Agnihotra, with cowdung cakes, and cow ghee arrests growth of disease causing germs. If it is not possible to obtain cowdung cakes, one can use twigs of medicinal plants for the fire.

The use of Agnihotra is to be experienced. We have been using it for a long time, and no one has suffered from swine flu in our vicinity. Besides we are in contact with a lot of patients being related to the medical field, but have been able to protect ourselves from it.

Case Studies:
Birth and death are not in our hands. Astrology can help leading a smooth life, by telling us the weak areas in our mind and body and remedies for the same. Astrology can certainly save us from a lot of confusion and anxiety.
Case 1-
Through astrological analysis, a gentleman was advised that he could have heart problem. Though he had no symptoms but when he went for investigations, three major blockages were detected in the cardiac arteries! Getting treated at the right time, this turned out a life saving astrological advice for him.
Case 2-
A gentleman had a lot of symptoms indicating heart problem. He was extremely distressed by them. He could not find any clear diagnosis as all the reports were normal. When his suffering continued with no relief or proper diagnosis, he consulted Astrology.
Based upon astrology, it was indicated that he has stomach related problems instead. Further medical tests confirmed it, and all his ‘heart symptoms’ were found to be a reflex arising from the stomach problems. Finally he got the right treatment.

Astrology has been emulated in the Vedas and is known to scholars since ancient times.

It is a method of mapping out the exact positions of the planets in relation to the place of birth of a person at a specific time. This is called the ‘horoscope’.

Predictions are made based upon some basic knowledge of the person’s background, as these are the basic points of reference.

The horoscope is a guide which tells us about the inclinations of the person in terms of his potential of progressing, or degressing from this basic reference point.

This can be with reference to his mental attributes, his health, interpersonal relations, fame, wealth, success etc.

Just as a cardiologist can judge the state of the heart by looking at the ECG, provided he can correlate with clinical findings, an astrologer needs to correlate with the person’s basic points of reference.

A horoscope cannot tell the gender of a person, or that what has transpired in the past as there can be numerous possibilities in the absence of any reference point, i.e. the basic correct data of the individual.

This has been used to misinterpret astrology and defame it by many so called ‘scientists’, and ‘rationalists’.

A horoscope can predict the possible dangers and risks in specific areas in a person’s life, so that he can take measures to prepare himself and find alternative ways for the same.

Man has greatly advanced in science and astronomy. We have reached the planets, and people claim that planets have no such effect upon the humans as astrology describes. Considering this as true, why can we not understand that the position of planets in a horoscope are a graph or a measuring instrument which in its various specific patterns indicate something important for each individual at any point of time?

Also we must understand and acknowledge that there are many phenomena in nature that we have not been able to understand completely. That never means that they are untrue!

It would be more useful to understand the scope and limitations of astrology in order to gain benefit from it for humankind at large.
