The planets , and constellations, in the sky, are the base on which rests the ancient art and science of astrology.
The way they place themselves, the way they move, all has an effect on the earth and all life on earth. There is a strong relation between the happenings that occur on earth, with them. A simple example that gives us an indication of this is the movement of ocean currents in synchronization with the phases of the moon. Our body consists of 75% of water! So not only the moon but also,other planets have an astral effect upon us all, and all life on earth too.
Each person at the time of birth has a different pattern of planets and constellations, with reference to the time and place of birth. So each person has his or her own unique horoscope. It is like a map of the most likely path the person’s life will charter.
There are innumerable galaxies, and ours is just one of them all. There are numerous solar systems. But the one our earth belongs to is what concerns us most. So the Sun at the centre, is the stable factor, with Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Harshal, and Pluto revolving around it.
To put it in simple words, a horoscope is the map of the arrangement in the heavens, of the planets and constellations, on the given day, at the given time, at the given place, of birth.
The time, place and day of birth being the three essential factors involved, without which, an accurate horoscope cannot be made.
There must not be any confusion as regard these three.
The day of birth:
When the birth has occurred at night, there is likelihood of confusion. The day of birth starts at 12 midnight . The complete date, consisting of the day, month and year should be mentioned.
The time of birth:
Accuracy of the horoscope fundamentally depends upon the accurate time of birth. Rather than mentioning a.m or p.m. it is better to mention hours . Eg birth at 2 p.m means birth at 14 hrs.In the United States of America , the time is changed according to seasons. This must be mentioned ,when giving time of birth. Ideally the standard time should be mentioned.
Place of birth:
We need to know the name of the town, district, and state. If birth has taken place in a village, the most proximate prominent town should be mentioned.
Moon Signs
Aries- (Mesh) : These people are an enthusiastic lot, mentally and physically.They like to lead others.They believe in action and doing things themselves.They are egoistic and changeable.They suffer from heat.
Taurus (Vrushabh): They are good businessmen, love beauty and romance. They enjoy luxuries, music and art. They appreciate the fine tastes and high living. They tend to suffer from throat problems.
Gemini (Mithun): They are intellectual and excellent orators.They are good communicators.They have great receptive powers, a sharp mind, and a happy heart. They tend to suffer from breathing problems.
Cancer (Karka): They are emotional, and sensitive. They need love affection and empathy.They are mentally changeable and imaginative or live in an imaginary world.They are prompt in all religious actions.
Leo (Simha):They are quite egoistic, but broad minded, impressive in speaking, good in politics, always ambitious to hold important positions.They love flattery. So they do often have to suffer losses.
Virgo (Kanya): Sharp intellect, inquisitive, quick to make bargains, and good at being a bit jealous of others, are some characteristics. They are careful about how they spend. They can mesmerize others with their talk.
Libra(Tula): Love , companionship and love of justice, are characteristics. They have an eye for beauty, and artistic fields.They are thoughtful ,quite , and calm, well balanced.They love society and are helpful to others. They fight for justice and truth.
Scorpio (Vrushchik): Self centered, and introvert, and they may even put another person into loss. Their thinking and actions are in contrast. They are generally strong, and obstinate. They are determined, and persevering.
Sagittarius (Dhanu) : They are free souls. They hate constriction and restriction. They have the determination to succeed out of failures.They are passionately sincere, pure minded, ambitious, just and generous by nature. They are good in sports and intellectual fields.
Capricorn (Makar):They move ahead with their own will power and efforts. Ambition , perseverance, and the strength to bear pain are their characters. They are serious minded. They may be suspicious, and narrow minded. They may hang on to the old. They can be cruel at times.
Aquarius (Kumbh): Sharp intellect, philosophical and research minded people.They are goal oriented.They do not expect anything for their good deeds and are selfless. They look calm, quite and like mixing with others.
Pisces (Meen): Good natured, helpful, loving, people who are emotional and devoted.They cannot decide easily and can be moody. They live in dreams, and can change their opinion quickly. They can adjust to any situations in life.
